Admission Process

Johnson’s Montessori School offers an age appropriate curriculum to each child from age 1 year old until completion of the third grade.  Students are selected into Johnson’s Montessori School based on the readiness of the child and commitment to the Montessori philosophy by the parents.

Please, follow the following admission process procedure:

1.     Contact Ms. Carla Johnson at (501) 614-3860 (school) or (501) 838-4740 (cell) to schedule a meeting.  Specific questions are to be directed to Ms. Carla Johnson, Owner and Director.

2.     Complete and bring the application form to your scheduled visit with Ms. Carla Johnson, Owner and Director. 

3.     During the visit, parents will receive an overview of the Montessori philosophy and practice, review the child’s age appropriate curriculum, review the school handbook, receive answers to specific questions, and tour the school.

4.     Once parents have indicated that they would like to pursue the enrollment process, your child’s file will be reviewed.  Once your child has been accepted into the school, you will be contacted by Ms. Carla Johnson, Owner and Director.  A $150.00 NON-REFUNDABLE fee will also be due to have your child placed on our Active Waiting List.  Tuition Fees will be discussed at this time, as well as payment procedures.

5.     Parents will be contacted when an age-appropriate opening becomes available at Johnson’s Montessori School.
