I Love Arts and Crafts!

In an environment of encouragement and support, children will learn to explore their creativity and develop their artistic talent. 

Reading Rockets

The children will embark on a fun-filled reading adventure that will accelerate their foundation capabilities in Phonetic Awareness, Fluency, Vocabulary and Reading Comprehension.

Field Trips: It’s A Family Affair

Johnson’s Montessori School believes that the family is the center of a child’s ability to succeed in all areas of life. Therefore, family oriented trips are taken to the movies, Clinton Library, Museum of Discovery and other fun filled places.

The Great Outdoors

The children will explore the solar system and learn the qualities that make each planet unique.  The students will focus on the oceans and their importance to the world .  The children will also begin to understand the importance of plants, trees and animals.  In addition, they will explore solids, liquids and gases.  

Children’s Theatre: “Broadway, Here We Come!”

The children will learn about emotional expression as they examine literature from around the world.  Through role-play activities, they will discover how to express ideas with enthusiasm.  They will also explore aspects of dramatic play.
