Welcome to the Johnson’s Montessori School website.  Although the website may provide you with information about our school and Montessori education, a great way for you to truly understand who we are is to visit our school by scheduling an appointment with Ms. Carla Johnson, Owner and Director. 

Johnson’s Montessori School is located in the central portion of Little Rock, Arkansas.  The area is also considered as a part of the greater midtown section of Little Rock, Arkansas. 

Our students range from 1 year old to Pre-K -Third grade.  In conjunction with our curriculum, our students study in multi-age groups at four levels: Toddler, Primer, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten – Third grade.

2008 Annual Service Learning Project

The Heifer Project invites members of our community to fund a gift of a “starter” animal such as a young cow or goat to a region of the earth which needs renewal in order to help end world hunger and poverty.  The gift of a “starter” animal is only one step in the process taken by The Heifer Project.  The staff of the Heifer Project also engages in teaching families across the globe how to replenish and care for their land and encourages them to teach their neighbors about what they have learned.

In celebration of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday, the faculty and staff at Johnson’s Montessori School will be explaining hunger issues to our students and organizing a service project to support The Heifer Project.

Inclement Weather Policy

We will follow the Little Rock School District’s “Inclement Weather Policy”.  If there are any exceptions to this policy, you will be notified via the television station’s “School Opening and Closing Advisories” that scroll at the bottom of the screen.

2008-2009 Enrollment Fee

If your currently enrolled child attends the Johnson’s Montessori School Summer Academy, a $50.00 NON-REFUNDABLE fee will be assessed when contracts are signed to save a place in the classroom during the Fall Academic Session .  Please, download the  Re-Application Process and Contract.  The contract must be received by June 9, 2008.
